What we collect, and what we deliberately do not.

We are a two person engineering company selling a DSP board and the courses that go with it. We are not in the data business, and this page is written to be read rather than to satisfy a lawyer.

Who we are

This site is operated by SigPro Labs, the company behind the RadioSonic signal processing platform. If you want to reach a human about anything on this page, write to info@sigprolabs.com and one of us will answer.

Analytics only run if you say yes

We use two analytics tools to understand which pages are actually helping people and which ones are confusing. Google Analytics 4 tells us roughly how many people arrive and which pages they read. Microsoft Clarity records anonymised interaction patterns such as where people click and where they give up scrolling.

Neither tool is loaded until you actively agree to it. This is worth being precise about, because many sites load their trackers first and only suppress the cookie afterwards. We do not do that. If you choose "No thanks" on the banner, or if you simply never answer it, the scripts are never fetched, no requests are made to Google or Microsoft, and there is nothing to opt out of later.

When you do accept, Google Analytics is configured with IP anonymisation turned on.

Your answer is stored in your own browser under the key rs-cookie-consent. It is a record of your choice, not an identifier, and it never leaves your device. Clearing your browser storage resets it and we will ask again.

Changing your mind

You can reverse either answer at any time, and it takes one click. There is no account to sign into and no preferences dashboard to work through.

If you buy something

Orders are processed by Shopify, which handles the checkout, the payment and the order record. Payment card details are entered on Shopify's systems and never touch ours. What we see afterwards is the order itself: what you bought, the name and address needed to ship it, and the email address needed to send you your enrolment key. Shopify's own privacy terms cover the checkout portion of that journey.

One thing worth stating plainly: the shop pages ask Shopify for current prices and stock as soon as they load, before any cookie question, because otherwise the page could not show you what is available. That request carries no identifier for you and is not analytics. It is the store working.

We currently ship within the United States only. If you are outside the US, the cart will point you at our contact form instead of a checkout that would fail at the last step.

If you contact us

The contact form is delivered to our inbox through Formspree. Whatever you type into it, including your email address, reaches us as an ordinary email. We keep it as long as the conversation is useful and we do not add it to any marketing list without you asking us to.

If you enrol in a course

Courses run on our own Moodle installation at radiosonic.sigprolabs.com/learn, hosted on a server we control in Germany. Signing in creates a session cookie, which is strictly necessary for the site to know you are logged in and cannot be switched off without breaking the course. Your coursework, forum posts and progress are stored there so that you and your instructor can see them. Student accounts are created only with SigPro Labs; we do not ask you to sign up with a third party to take our courses.

Things we do not do

  • We do not sell, rent or trade personal information to anybody.
  • We do not run advertising on this site, and we do not build advertising profiles.
  • We do not use dark patterns to nudge you toward accepting analytics. Rejecting is the same single click as accepting, we remember your rejection, and we do not ask again.
  • We do not load trackers before you have agreed to them.

Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have a formal right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. You do not need to invoke a specific law to make that request. Email info@sigprolabs.com and tell us what you want, and we will do it and confirm when it is done.

Changes to this page

If we add a tool that collects anything, this page gets updated before that tool goes live, and the consent version is bumped so that everyone is asked again rather than being carried over on an old answer.
